I have been training dogs and competing with my own dogs in Obedienc, Agility and Rally for 20 years. I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT) and participate in ongoing professional continuing education seminars and workshops to maintain and expand my skills.

I use "clicker" techniques to teach dogs in a positive, constructive atmosphere which fosters trust and mutual respect. Clicker training, (shorthand for operant conditioning using positive reinforcement)is based on the latest scientific understanding of learning theory, but its application feels, to both dog and human, like fun and games with great, often amazingly quick, results.
